What's a Newborn photoshoot with Lisa Price Photography like?
My aim is for you to have a wonderful, relaxing experience, in a safe, clean and cosy environment, perfectly set up for newborn and their parents. A newborn photoshoot really is the best way to capture that raw, powerful and unencompassing love you have for your newborn, at the most precious time in their lives.
My newborn sessions have a lovely relaxed, natural feel, full of light, connection and love. It's my favourite thing to involve siblings and parents (please trust me on this one - you won't regret being in the photos!) whilst keeping the focus on baby. I adopt a natural, baby led style to my work, meaning I follow baby's lead to gently position them as they are comfortable, creating a beautiful and unique set of photos, just for you.
What's the best age for a newborn photoshoot?
The ideal time for a newborn photoshoot is when baby is between 1-3 weeks old. This may seem young, but babies soon lose that sleepy, curled up squishiness that they have in the first few weeks. They'll never be this tiny again and we want to capture that gorgeous newness. However, if you're not ready to venture out that soon, I photograph newborns up to 12 weeks old.
When should I book?
It's best to book in well before your due date - after your 20 week scan is ideal to ensure availability. I take a £50 deposit at the time of booking and pencil your due date in the diary. We then firm up the actual date of the photoshoot once your baby has arrived.

Where does my photoshoot take place?
I have a purpose built home studio, where I have everything set up and ready to go. It's the perfect little space for you to sit back, relax and enjoy your session. The studio is equipped with everything you need, from soft blankets and wraps to spare nappies and wipes. It's important to me that you enjoy your session and have a lovely experience. I am very relaxed and friendly, to put yourself, your baby and any siblings at ease.
