'Sitter' sessions, as they are known are when babies sitting up unaided, but not yet walking (usually around 6-10 months old). It's an absolutely gorgeous age to have a photoshoot; full of smiles but still firmly in the 'baby stage' before they're up walking and talking. it's just the blink of an eye.
